Furthermore, we are associated with GNFC for distribution of Formic Acid. Used as a coagulant for obtaining rubber from latex and an auxiliary for deliming and pickling of leather and in the fixing of dyes in the leather industry, Formic Acid finds significant use in the tanneries.

The Technology for Formic Acid Plant at GNFC has been supplied by Kemira OY, Finland. GNFC produces high quality Formic Acid through Methyl Formate Route and it has a capacity to produce 5,000 MTPA. Formic Acid is available in 30 litre HDPE carboys and in Stainless Steel tankers.
